On average a hog's hanging weight will be 200lbs which will yield around 150lbs of pork.
Whole Hog - 7 cubic feet (+/-)
Half Hog - 3.5 cubic feet (+/-)
Hanging weight is the weight after the hide, head, and other parts have been removed. It includes bones, fat, and offal.
We estimate a whole hog to be around $1200-$1400 and half to be $600-$800 once all said and done!
We will give you the date (usually 2 weeks after slaughter date) to pick up from our farm, or can deliver for a fee!
